An imposing and technically-gifted centre-back, Alex’s season was disrupted by injury, but he still played 15 times at various age groups, underlining his importance to the squad.
The defender was part of the first-team squad that travelled to Dubai in January 2022 for the mid-season training camp, and was named on the bench for our Premier League win over West Ham in May.
Alex, an accomplished leader on the pitch who has been with us from the age of eight, is spending the season on loan with Scottish Championship side Ayr United.
